Pyjamas for the women’s shelter are currently being wrapped for delivery. While this year the campaign ran a little late, it is truly better late than never. The women’s shelter relies on these donations, so much so that they had reached out inquiring whether our Local was participating again. Additionally, it was the first year that CUPE Local 46 (Medicine Hat city workers) partnered with our Local’s committee.
With thanks to our community, we will be donating 259 pairs of PJs, lots of socks and some slippers, and bunches of handmade toques and mitts.
